I am getting ready to install my windows and thought someone here had advise on this type of window and the trim ring.
I will have to cut the trim rings but has anyone mounted this type of window before?

It has a two peice trim ring for the interior but doesnt seem to fit correctly.
I know they will have to be trimmed to fit right but I want to be sure on the mounting technique before I cut the trim,so if anyone has used these
and knows any tricks, I would appreciate any advice !!! Thanks! Aaron

I have one of these on my TD. It was a scratch and dent and missing it's trim and snap ring. I took the easy way out... Drilled 6 holes in the surround, ran small bolts through, sealed, and put nut/washer combos on the inside. I plan to trim it with wood one of these days... Not sure that really helped, but maybe moral support. Good luck.

Aaron, we use a radiused cornered window similar to yours...they came with a god-awful ugly trim/clamp ring...we tossed it in the al scrap pile...after talking with manufacturer, we drilled holes in the outer flange, put a heavy bead of auto windshield sealant and screwed 'em down with SS screws, which we painted black to match the windows...for trim, we used a 1/2" wide "aluminized" insert T molding on the inside of the cutout that was left over from interior cabinet trim....
