Cut the
mounting flange part of the hinge flush with the side of the tear, allowing for a 3/8"-or-so overhang of the hinge-pivot housing
and the little verticle locating flange (will probably have to notch that flange over the galley wall for a really nice fit). Then, cut a notch in the top flange of the Roof Edge Molding so that it fits up nicely against the mounting flange of the hinge and extends past the hinge end to butt-up against the little locating flange (a real nice fit-up will have part of the verticle leg of the Roof Edge Molding covering just the bottom edge of the Hinge mounting flange). RV Putty Tape under the hinge
first, then fit-up the Roof Edge Molding and use clear or silver siliconized caulk to seal under that, and fill in any gaps in the final fit-up. Clear as mud, right ...
