Well I trimmed out the Shelving this afternoon.
Image

Just one little thing---Rotary Cutters are intended to be used with a cutting mat and never jump when the phone rings.

They glued it so it would be pretty. Now I can't move it for 4 days. But I wanna finish my shelves

Miriam,

I know it is a little late but you can cut that trim stuff with a inexpensive pair of scissors and they do make that trim in a self adhesive so you do not have to use your iron.

I know that is painful(do not ask me how I know), but you have to look at it in a positive light - atleast you were not using a power tool

 8) I just knew you guys would love that picture. Fortunately it was a dull blade and went in sideways. I was only scoring the trim and breaking it off. It would worked great if it was on a mat and my hand would have been 18 inches away. Just dumb.

Notice I did not get a single drop of blood on my shelf. 8) I used a pair of scissors to finish.

I have never seen a self adhesive strip.

Thanks for the empathy ;)

AM...on the edging...yes they do have a self adhesive as well as a no adhesive(add your own)...I much prefer the "iron on"...we use a heat gun and a dowel and have never had any failure with it....

The iron worked great. I used strips of wax paper to keep it off my iron. Burnished it with a plastic thingy. This looks really good.

OUCH! Maybe if you run the iron over it, it will stick just like the shelving!!!! :)

BTW: Been there, done that - lots of times over the years. Hang in there and it will heal and make you more cautious next time.
