Putting aluminum on hatch

Postby Signman » Sun May 06, 2007 9:06 am

I'm getting ready to put the aluminum on my hatch. My plans are pretty vague. At the bottom of the hatch, how far past the bottom of the floor should I go with the aluminum? Or should I be flush with the bottom of the floor? Thanks for your help.

Darrel,
I have done and I have seen where the bottom of the hatch ends at the base of the floor - where just the frame shows. In other words, you will be overlapping the floor and that way you can seal the hatch edge on the bottom. I think the Generic Benroy plans has a good drawing for that.

Thanks Jack, for your help. I checked out your album. It looks like it won't be long before you're going camping. It looks good.

Thanks,
