Duct openings are supply on top return on bottom black outlet in between is low voltage connection.

1" od square slides in to support ac unit.

Closed up and ready for travel.

A view of the unit outlets top is supply bottom center return air bottom right is outside air. In the cabinet i installed a 12 volt relay to control A C unit
wired fan to turn off with compressor, might install another relay later to allow fan to run alone. Oh by the way it works great, used last week.

I'm confused:

Is that an extra enclosure that covers the entire unit?

And how do you adjust the settings?

Hey Ira i threw away the front cover and made one out of aluminium. it's controlled by the t stat in the cabin.

I still don't get it:

Aren't the unit controls exposed to the elements? They face the tongue, right? Not the cabin?

Or is was this not a window shaker to begin with?

My limited mind sees manual knobs and buttons, but I don't see them on the unit.

----------------

Edit:

Wait. I think I figured it out. Takes me long, because I'm a retard.

This was a window shaker, the on-unit controls face the CABIN, but are protected from the elements by your new enclosure.

Duh???
