Front Window

Postby Classic Finn » Wed May 09, 2007 2:22 pm

Good Evening Folks

I started doing somthing else to let ideas roll on the Galley.. So now if you remember, I had wanted to order a premade window frame out of
brushed aluminum... I called the company up and asked if they had done anything about the price quotation and drawings..

Low and Behold they want 500 Euro for that window and premade frame.. :? :? :? :o  :?

I said sorry but no thanks.. can you imagine...so l decided to do the relative to the Camp Inn Window..The Finnish Way... :D :D I have a good start...now and not expensive either..

I did it myyyyyyy wayyyyyyyy.. :M  :coffee: Back in the Shop with my friend the Finnish Knife. :D :D

Here is what Im working on right now. I had to stop in for fresh coffee..

You make me SICK!!!

Shouldn't you be out hunting reindeer instead of making me and others here look like totally inept buffoons?

Pretty damn funny stuff there. Finns, knives, darkness - sounds like you could be lying in wait for some old German with a lisp.

I'm also thinking of a front window. Do you have the next step planned yet? I am thinking of trying to make two aluminum angle frames that nest into each other, one inside and the other outside. If I could draw on a computer I would show you what I mean. The resulting ridge would be one window stop and and the other would be flat stock. I hope I explained that good enough to understand.
