Listen to the dumb that had problems building thiers and you'll have problems. Listen to those that had no problems and it'll go like a breeze. Look at thier work. End of lesson. And by the way, nice Tongue Box.
Maybe I shouldn't have used dumb. Oh well.

are some of you building them separately or something?
I dont want to seem arrogant but it really was one of the easier parts of construction.
I simply mounted the spars in place and sheeted them while
they were temporarily screwed to the sides. I cant see how this could be complicated? Again, I dont mean to trivialize hatch construction, but it seems pretty foolproof. (I really dont mean to insult anyone)
Just build it! it's not as hard as you may think! Aaron
Gage wrote:Finn, did you read the very last line of my post. And I haven't seen where you swore the first hatch you built was the way to build a hatch. I also don't think you would have had to build it a second time if you had listened to the ones who had no problems building just one hatch the fit properly. How's that old saying go? If the shoe fits, wear it. But if it doesn't fit, don't worry about it.
