Well I got to the point of Fender Postioning and Window Aligning today for a short while before it started raining ...

One for certain I hate these straight axles... Im going to have to build the skirting to make the fenders look somewhat good on it..

In the pics side view from behind the fender it sits at 4.5 inches and front at 4 inches below the bottom of frame in order for it to look decent.. if I lift it up the space between the edge of tire and fender gap is huge and looks like horses chitt.

I mustve paced back and forth to wear out a path between the tires and 5 feet back from them for the times I went back and forth on one side only.

Lots of head scratching and moving... :? :? :scratchthinking: Its not a problem .. its just an obstacle.. :x I,ll do some 4 inch skirting next..so it will then look like this or close..better than looking at half foot of fenders dragging under the tear...

I,ll have to order some drop axles by slow boat come winter. Cause I aint going to do it now..

Here are some pics ...

Those are really nice fenders! Looking good. Skirting? Where? In the bottom photo it looks like the fender could come down a wee bit.

I do like the look of the fenders with those tires.

Howdy Texas and Howdy Loader.. where ya been ?  Skirting under the entire length of the side walls front to back...

I do like the fenders also but what a pain to get them postioned the way I like.. then they will need to go to the painter man shop... ;)

I,ll get it eventually...

Hello Finn,

Me?? I spent a couple weeks on the road for work. Hoping things settle down for a little while.

That is really going to be one sharp Teardrop. The front windows are great! I have a port light in mine, and really like being able to look out front.

I have no doubt you'll get it!

I remember the port light on yours...sweet.. It seems to make an optical illusion inside that its bigger or more open. Im really glad that I decided to make it.. its not what I originally planned to do but its the next best thing to it...wife likes it much as well..so thats good ..got to keep the boss happy as well.. :D :D

Ohh I just noticed too.. I have no choice but to get it done asap because after I install the fenders it barely fits into the porta garage...aint that shweeeeeeet..   I,ll take that on a positive note though.. :) :)

 thanks for stopping by and saying hello..
