Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

A fella that works at a local wood place (Myers) told me it has a 50yr warrantee and he has seen it been placed in standing water for a while and not warp. Supposedly has a new special epoxy blend. Anyone use it?

Might make it my floor, coated on 1 side with roofing asphalt of course.

As a residential building contractor I am very familiar with the Orientated Strand Board (OSB) sheathing material tradenamed as Advantech. The product is a moisture resistant subfloor material. In residential construction the weather elements sometimes play havoc on traditional OSB products. Traditional plywood for residential construction is old technology. Old architects and specifiers are sometimes still specifing it because they haven't had to pay for a delamination claim!!! Advantech has the added positive is that you can go over the top with a variety of floor coverings without having to add another layer of underlayment. Traditional OSB would need a interior grade 1/2" plywood on top of the floor sheathing to be able to install traditional hardwood flooring. With Advantech we could go right over the top.
Advantech as the flooring for the deck of a tear? It would probably work I would prefer to use a treated plywood. Price wise Advantech would be less expensive than a treated plywood.

Thanks Marty! I can get 4X8 sheets of Advantech for $21 a sheet. So I figure 2 sheets to do a 4X10 area and have enough to do a storage area between the frame rails in the front floor area under where my mattress will sit. I'll post pics when I put it on. Probably next Monday. Tonight I just painted the frame Khaki to make it less-noticeable. Red detracts from the whole wood-look I am wanting.
