Postby mexican tear » Wed May 16, 2007 9:17 pm

Hey all
I have promised my friend that I would help him put an A/C in his Yoder Toter. Has anyone put one in and how did they do it.

A little help would be much appreciated.. Thanks

Campman sells the Yoder Toter and has installed a petcool inside of one of his. But I can't remember how he did it.

Thanks Gary

I am retiring my petkool. 2000 btu is just not enough for two big guys. Ronnie is as big as I am, so no petkool is going to work.

I am using 5000 btu, set up like the petkool. I am having to make and adapter for the hoses, Then we shall see how it goes.

I put one in a Little Guy, which is similar. My solution, and some suggestions sent to me are at this thread...

The quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten, so build your teardrop with the best materials...

Mike

Last year when we were going and coming from the IRG, It was terribly hot and the Petkool ran all the time it was on. If we had two hours or so we could get the temp inside down with out us inside. Once we got in, the unit would run full time all night and just keep the same temp.

My sad story for an expensive unit. The $96 unit from Walmart has 2 1/2 times the btu. If it works 1 1/2 times as good, I will be a happy teardrop camper.

Pics to come when it is done.
