Make your own fiberglass fenders?

Postby angib » Wed May 23, 2007 5:14 pm

I came across this site (looking for something else) and it seems a decent description by a novice - including all the mistakes he made.

Those aren't trailer fenders, they're 'wings' for a Morgan lookalike car, but the construction method is the same. Sadly it's written in British, not American, English but translation isn't too difficult.

Yep Andrew... Darn good article... And, I understood it just fine too. I guess I spent enough time down under to pick up the idiom pretty well.

It's the dang measurement that get me all befuddled... Like most Mercans... I'm still kinda slow with this metric stuff.

...good quote from early in the article........
If you could have bought it all ready made and you spent time and money doing your own, in my view you are a nutter!

...none of them around here...are there............. 8)

I did think of that before posting. But in truth I think the article will show people that buying from you is much, much less work than making their own!

A week? Is that like a week of 60 days? At least a month or two of spare time is a better estimate.
