Well got down to work again after rain and cloudy days...I got to applying Marine Varnish... onto the Inner Hatch.. spending time sanding and more sanding sure paid off and removal of excess glue in places...
Im glad I didnt stain.. since I would of made a big mistake now that I see the natural grains appear from the Finnish Marine Ply.. and this is just with a single coat...

There are some Pine also used from the Finnish forests...The ends - top and bottom of the hatch are made of urpean oak.

Im not a pro photographer so the white spots are reflections from the lighting in places...

as well as places were the varnish has soaked in real well..
