Color Change

Postby cablerunners » Mon May 28, 2007 9:01 pm

Hi All,

I painted my tear several times over the last week, 2 coats of primer, 2 coats of red, 2 more coats of primer, then 3 coats of yellow.

After 2 coats of red the roller marks were very noticeable and the red didn't give an even color coat. Turns out I didn't care for that shade of red after all.

So, I decided to go yellow, and I really like my decision. The yellow coated very well on the first coat!

I even got instant approval from a local resident!

I wouldn't worry about the bees, I think I took out enough of them on the Utah trip. I drove thru a swarm of them on the way there AND back. The funny thing is that it was at the same exact place on the highway. It sounded like rain when I drove thru them.

BTW: I like the yellow too.

You could mix them up and go for a pumpkin theme!

I just had a vision with audio, of the Bumbletear or Teardropabee pulling up into the CG with the Flight of the Bumblebee blaring out a big speaker like an ice cream truck. :wacky

Sorry for the Hijack...but I just had to share with every one
