I'm sorry.....Anyway, I was browsing through some vent topics and was wondering if anybody has designed a system for passive ventilation while the TD is being towed. This would require just the right balance of air in and air out. It would be great to allow the cabin to be totally ventilated when you get there. This would require a closable vent (at least on the outside). I'm thinkin' on the front quarter panels, you could have an intake ----> through the cabin----->through vents in the bulkhead, into the galley and out vents in the side (ala Hunter Shadow).

I'd rather not leave a window open and the rooftop vents will not hold up (testify).

Why do you need to ventillate while driving?

Once you get to your camp site, simply open the doors for a minute and voila... instant freshness!

A ventilated teardrop sounds like a mattress and pillow on a frame. No walls, no roof, no galley...

I'm just having flashbacks of my cousin's teardrop that always stunk. The leaking roof might of had something to do with it...

I would be afraid of water intrusion and dirt from the road while driving at highway speeds. It sounds like a potential leak hazard either way

Thats why Gazumbo Enterprises is making the new improved kevlar re-enforced model of Teardrop. It has bulletproof side panels and only weighs 5000lbs.

Usually, moisture is the problem, letting mold grow. So, keep it dry.... But I see no reason to ventilate while pulling.. I keep mine buttoned up tight on the road and keep the dust out...

As mentioned, I put a canister of dry-it in my tear, and after a month, I stuck my head in, and no smells or oders....
