The sides are attached to the floor how

one gent said he made a grove in the side to fit the side to the floor!

I simply built a wood frame out of 2x4s that I ripped down to 2x2s. Then I glued them to the frame with construction adhesive and bolted them in place with 3/8 x 4" carriage bolts. Today, I'm going to fasten the sides to the 2x2 frame with more construction adhesive and wood screws. I'll be posting more photos to my Yahoo album later today but in the meantime, here is the link if you want to take a quick look:

Here's how I did mine:


I used Gorrilla Glue and wood screws to attached the sides to the ripped down 2x4s in the deck. The sides are supported by the frame as well.
