choice of exterior wood?

I have a choice of using 1/4 baltic birch or 3/8 bendable plywood for my exterior. Any opinions on which is best? I'm building the superleggara style so it's not as tight a bend as say a benroy. Because it's 5ft wide I'll have to buy 4x8 sheets and bend then width-wise. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I presume you are talking about the roof.
We used 3/8" bendable & it worked great. With bendable you have to make sure it bends the right way. With 5', from what I have seen stocked, the way you need it to bend is not as common. I don't know how easily bendable the 1/4" baltic birch is, though it is good wood. If you could get 1/8" baltic birch & make two layers glued together would be better. That seems harder to find. Our first hatch was made of the two layers of baltic birch & I really liked the wood. My husband trimmed some off with paying attention to grain & only option was using it non cross grain & we had problems because the the hatch sprung.
The 3/8" bendable was very easy to work with, but also seemed a very stable roof.
