T molding

Well, I finally got my T molding in place but now a problem. With the T molding in place and the hinge on the door, the hinge now sticks out about 1/8" on the jamb side. In other words, it won't lay flat to screw it down. I used counter top edging around the door frame opening and that seems to be whats holding the hinge away. What does everyone else use to trim out the door jamb? This stuff is asbout 1/16" thick with the short side less than 1/8".
Help, anyone!! Rod

Like Mary says... pictures will help.

I'm not understanding why your hinge is sticking out... I'm not picturing your problem. Could you try to explain it again, or give us some pics...

thanks...

Mike...

Like above, I'm not really understanding what your talking about. BUT, any trimming that needs to be done should be done to the door unless your talking about something being to thick. If that the case, I can't help you.
