Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Hi All, I haven't written for a while, busy with life and other stuff. I am looking to finally install the little tv into the trailer. Wondering about running cable lines. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
And also ideas on securing the tv.
I know there have been previous posts on this but have checked for a while.

I put an outside cable hookup on the tear, which runs to one input of an a/b switch. The other input is from the tv antenna. So, if the c/g has cable, I hook up to that, if not, I try the antenna to see if I get any reception. The a/b switch is available at radio shack and allows you to switch between the 'a' input, or the 'b' input.

The output of the a/b switch goes to the vcr player, that connects to the tv.

I bring vcr tapes recorded at home when I remember/g/.... so I can always watch some kind of tv while falling asleep.

I changed plans. I originally was going to put in a tv dvd combo which meant pulling out the interior cabinet face panel. Well my woodworking skills are iffy so I went looking for either a flat panel or an under the counter TV. I opted for the under the counter model as couldn't quite justify the price of a flat panel vs camping (I used to be a backpacker). I built a shelf as high to the roof as I could and ran cable lines to an outside waterproof box. I also found a small dvd player and mounted in on the top of the shelf and held it in place with bungy cords. Works well, the TV isn't the best for pulling in cable signals (cheap TV with a cheap tuner) works well with the dvd player. For those wet west coast camping days we can at least watch something.

Looks like you have solved your problem. I like velcro to keep things in place ( sliding around ).
The under the counter TV is a good idea that others have used.

The tv/dvd install really paid off this past weekend. We were really socked in by the weather. We were able to watch a movie in the tear and dry off and warm up.
