Finally my TD gets a kitchen

Finally my TD gets a Kitchen, well more of a breakfast bar.

Design notes
We eat out mostly so I only need a standby cooking capacity.
But I want to store food, drink and kitchen paper,
I don’t have a lot of space in back. So I made the draws to keep them slender for max capacity.
The cooker-table doubles as a way of keeping the doors closed when moving.
When I welded the frame I put some runners underneath. At the time I did not know what to do with them but look an extra shelf and it pulls out all the way to make a low (low) table.
The paint ‘orange pealed’ so I will flat it off in the close season and re-paint.
There are three bottle holders built in, 2 wine, 1 water.
Because my kitchen came later, I made it on the bench and slotted it in so its separate and can come out.
I made my self a little cool box out of the same wood and leftover Styrofoam.

Its had one trip out so far and it all worked well.

Thanks to all the people who I stole ideas off, Clive

That little table is slick! The upper table.

Do you not hit the low one with your shins? Are they called shins in England?

I don't see how you guys can pull off all that storage in the tears. That's very impressive!

Adapting the galley to ones own needs is just one of the beauties of these little trailers. Looks like you have found the right combination for you and you did a very nice job with it. :applause:

Hi,

Steve wolverton
No you don't bang your chin. It makes a great plate drying place.

I think the kitchen has taken as much desgn time as the rest of the TD

Hi Heikki
Thanks for the support, again.
No I don't have any pictures of the inside. But I am currently fitting a roof vent and will post picss of that and I guess there will be inside shots. You could do with a wide angle les but I don't have one. I will ask around.

Clive,
Your galley turned out great.
Love the blue paint, really stands out & looks sharp!
Great little silverware drawer.
You're right about it takes a lot of time to figure out just what one needs & how one wants their galley to look. We're still working on ours.
Great job. :applause: :applause: :applause:
