Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

I was wondering if there might be a list somewhere out there with the recommended tool list to complete a tear? I already realize that I don't have near enough clamps! I already have a router, chop saw, jigsaw, scroll saw, belt sander...you get the idea. But are there some tools that may be more specific to building a tear?

CLAMPS...and one(or more) of everything at the tool store...and did I mention clamps........

There are really no tools specific to teardrop building but there are some that might make it easier

The one that comes to mind is a pocket hole jig to help with cabinet assembly, also think about getting long straps as they will help with securing while adding screws to secure your roof and hatch since you have curves.

If you look at folks build photos you can see what people used when to give you an idea what you need

I figured I'd probably need a pocket hole jig. Also, a wise sage (Mad..something or other) once mentioned that I may need clamps...or something like that.
I cleaned my garage last weekend and took inventory of my clamps, it actually depressed me. I have two 48" bar clamps and a handful of smaller clamps. It appears that I may be about 743 clamps short of what I need!

A healthy imagination. Don't be afraid to go outside the box.

There's a box? What box? I don't remember seeing a box!

Something you might use a LOT of is:
-a pen
-a check book
-a debit card
-a credit card
-a beer
-a break
-a cuss word (many of several sizes)
-a torch
-a bottle of lighter fluid
-a good therapist if your wife is against you taking up garage space for long periods of time
-a tape measure, saw or sander that automatically corrects wrong cuts
-a small bottle of glue or a large bottle of bourban (choice is yours)
Trust me... you'll figure it out - your happiest day will be when you "undercoat" the floor , followed by the finished TD.

Seriously one of my husband's favorite tools is a 4" or 4 1/2" angle grinder.
We bought it from HF cheap. We bought it because it was on a list somewhere that said it would be real handy in building a teardrop & it was cheap. We didn't even know what it would be used for, now he owns 2, one with a disk for wood, one with a disk for metal so he doesn't have to change disks & is one of his favorite tools. He says it has saved him so much time & the other tools he has would have taken 2 or 3 or more times longer. You can use it for cutting metal like a hack saw, for rapid sanding down an edge before using a sander, etc.....

Clamps, clamps and more clamps, short and loooooong clamps.....I dont know how many times Ive gone out to buy them... Straps dont 4 get straps..

Scandinavian and English Cuss Words A few times.... Ohh Yes.... sometimes even mixed...but not around the kids...

Ohh I almost forgot... A nice lil garage.... especially wintertime... and a bottle of warm me up quick fluid...

Keith and MJ hit the list pretty close. I added one "soft" wall in my shop so tools would stick to it rather than bounce back and hit me.
You've got more than I had and I think I did okay?????

If it's got a cord or a battery attached to it you will probably find it useful.
I don't keep too many tools around that aren't powered by something other than me any more.

Every conceivable form of power sander.

And clamps.

And beer.

If you are skinning in aluminum, power shears and a hand punch with multiple dies.

And more beer . . .

Clamps, Beer, Clamps, Lead weights, and more Clamps.

Band-aids...preferably orange with the Flintstones print!!!!
