The LongHaul sees Daylight

I needed to clean out the shop and decided to put the LongHaul out to see if it would roll. It rolled out and back in without dropping my bumper to the ground.

So if you are interested, here are some pictures of the only tandem axle teardrop here on the forum, (which is still a debate as to IF it is a teardrop or not). I'm almost embarassed because there is sooooo much room in the cabin. I added a few inches here and there and the result is lots of confort. 12 foot long, 5 1/2 foot wide

Supper, it’s a teardrop! 8) Maybe an Elephant Tear, but it’s a tear. Looks real good! Hay look at it this way. You put the tong box inside and added two spare tires.

Hey that's cool. All that extra room will sure come in handy when its raining. Plus there's plenty of space for the widescreen.

"A big honking non-standy elephant megatear". I like that, I wonder if I can get a vanity plate with that on it. Down with naysayers, they suck! BUT, they are fun to play with, as long as they allow me to attack back!

Being around all of you just made my day. I haven't stopped laughing since I read your replys, thanks for your comments!!!!!

No matter how long this thing takes, I'm just enjoying the fun and all the problem solving that takes place when I build. Like Gage sayes, "teardrop time" is wonderful. I wouldn't do it anyother way.

I think it will work well at the slopes this winter, but I do hope it is done in a month or so. I just skinned the hatch, :) Just toooooo cooooool!

Tandem wheel just make so much sense... No matter what ya' call it , it's VERY COOL !!!!

Funny , the Big Bugout is 12'x75", and nobody made a stink about it ... From the photos of what's been built here , the term teardrop includes a lot ...

It may be a bigger trailer but it really looks like you have maintained the traditional lines of a TD. Nice work! I wanna see more of it.
