I think we've outgrown our teardrop : (

As we were camping last weekend in Island Park, Idaho, I realized that our family has outgrown our teardrop trailer. Me, my wife, and 2-year-old are just about too cozy in our five-foot wide trailer. We are also expecting a new arrival in November.

Any ideas as to what I can do to keep the teardrop and accomodate my growing family?

Pull the TD with a truck with a topper with walk in door. ....... install children beds into topper.

Forgot to mention that we typically camp in grizzly country, so I don't feel comfortable having the kids sleep separate from us and my version of pepper spray.

Well....... I think we could talk my ex-mother-in-law into going with you. Then just rub her down every evening with bacon grease and put her into a tent about 50 feet away....... The bears will leave you alone.

But ...... shouldn't a a guy named Erik the Red want to hassle the bears?

Seriously....... Maybe get a truck camper then all of you could just sleep in that and use the TD for cooking and hauling things to the campsite.. Then if it is just you and your wife/child other times, you could just use the TD. Of course that is assuming you want to have a truck around.
