Those of you that have skinned your tear with the White Fiberglass - (On the Roof - Exterior.. how thick of ply did you use underneath?

I was thinking of 3mm since my Fiberglass Sheeting is 1.8 mm in thickness but actually does it need to be at that thickness? I do have the 1.5 mm ply sheeting left...

Maybe Paul from Down Under can chime in...

Good evening Glassice... Its a pleasure to hear from you..

Can you tell me what you mean by high dent foam please? I have 50mm
foam on the ceiling at present..is that enough?

I just thought it would be sort of a waste to put another layer of ply underneath unless its for strength purposes

Best regards to You.

I use the brown ins 1 " on are trailers the glass is to stop you from putting your finger through the foam If you can glue the 2 together it supper strong like some jet fighters are made that way .I see you did a great job fixing your fender  when we do the round parts cut in to 2" strips lay in and fell in with 2 part foam( it's cheep that way) can foam will work but not as strong
