Floor is done, still need to insulate and put on the roofing cement.

I need to build up 1/4", so I might go ahead and just sandwich the floor. If I go this route I'd only need to tar the bottom ply correct?

I had to laugh - I was so careful to make sure the floor was square. Wouldn't you know it, the trailer isn't! As a good friend would say "Ain't 'dat a b!7ch!"

You could try something like this:



Of course all of the material thicknesses could be changed. I think that I would use 1/4" for the outside skin, if I were building it now. I probably would not use the bolts either, just use screws. This is an old drawing, but gets the idea across, I think.

Oh yeah, almost forgot - that pocket screw jig rocks!!! Holy cow did that make quick work of the frame!

Yeah, it made quick work of it, but who would've thought Ace Hardware didn't carry 'em? They didn't even know what we were talking about!

How many more tools are we going to have to search all over hell's half-acre to find? Does anybody else have trouble finding tools at well-known stores?

Welcome Dayna...excuse me a moment ..OK I am better now...it is amazing what "well known stores" don't have or know about...I am pretty sure that not even at my local 50 yr old ACE has 'em...in fact, I'm pretty sure one would be hard to find around here....period...now all ya gotta do is keep the SaGR lined out and y'all will be campin' before ya know it and one last thing...sometimes the quest is the best part........

Oh, we'll definitely finish this project.

We want to have the trailer done for our honeymoon in September!!!
