Hatch Ribs

Postby cablerunners » Wed Jul 04, 2007 7:32 pm

Hi All,

I'm wondering about the "Ribs" for my Hatch.

Do I make them the exact same sized outline as the Galley Wall, or slightly larger (to allow for weatherstripping)?

Thanks,

Look on page 20 of the generic benroy plans. I notched the sidewalls 3/8" to allow for weather stripping.

The ribs would follow the outside profile of the sidewalls BEFORE you notch the sidewall; or in your words, "the exact same sized outline as the Galley Wall".

Mike...

Doh.... Read the Instructions....

Well, that answered my question and showed me that I messed up on my hurricane hinge.... grrr

Oh well, Grant gets another sale and this hinge will be for my tongue box.
