Tool Tip

Postby Lynn Coleman » Fri Jul 20, 2007 10:39 pm

Hi all,

I just wanted to point out something that happened in my town this week, yesterday in fact. Cummins tools came to town. They rented the Lion's club and you went through there, made a list of the tools you wanted and then went out to the truck and picked them up.

The prices were great.

I picked up 5 7 1/2 carbine tipped circular saw blades for $9.99 I paided 24.95 for a single one from my local hardware store.

Paul and I also picked up some new tools, we purchased a router and 50 tips all carbine tipped. We also purchased a new circular saw. Both the router and circular saw are Ryobi. Both of these tools we had borrowed from other folks to work on the Inkwell. We also picked up a new jig, air drill and a neat aluminum stand that really beats using the step ladder all the time. Oh, and I picked up some cobalt steel drill bits.

And the most incredible deal was 5 boxes of sandpaper (250 sheets per box) for 15 bucks.

Anyway, I share this in case you have one of these sales coming your way. There were way more tools than our budget could afford but we got some great deals.
