I know this is a lot of pics for one post but I don't have time to do several post tonight,
it's been a good week for getting things done on the TD only having to work 2 days a week really helps. I was able to get the floor covering in, completed the two side cabinets and installed them, picked up a micowave and installed it after the cabinets, completed the wiring except for the 110V for the frig, installed the 12V DC dual outlet, and started the trim on the rear side, and installed the radio antenna. once again sorry for so many pics in this post but I've got to get some things done before work monday.

Beautiful job indeed! It looks like maybe you are using some reclaimed wood? It sure looks good. I love your counter top and doors with the angled wood. Your finishing is superb. And, the wiring is very professional. You are going to have a show piece of a fine teardrop. Look forward to seeing the finished job. Maybe we'll meet up at one of the Southern gatherings?

Thanks everyone for the comments; sorry for the late reply but I don't get on the net as much as I use to.

juneaudave: the finsih I am using is just Mimwax water base Satin

podunkfla: yes it is reclaimed wood poplar from some old palets I picked up at work.

Its been a busy week didn't get to work on the tear as much as I had hoped, a friend of mine called and asked if I had time to help remodel a house for a Marine that was injured in Iraq when is Humv was hit by an IED he's still in Walter Reed but should be coming home soon. the remodel is so his Mom can move in and take care of him. We got all the walls up and now we are on hold for the electriction and the plumers.

So today I was able to remove the rear hatch to get it ready to install the inner skin, finish up the upper hatch supports, install the rear lights. On the body I finished up the lower hatch support mounting, sanded out the side panels and applyed the finish, installed the side edge trim, sealed all trim, doors and any other place that I water might get in. Tomorrow I've got to make a trip to the old HD to pick up some more insulation for the rear hatch so I can finish it up and get it reinstalled. So by sunday I hope to have the rear hatch on and the counter top back in for the last time, still have to find some wheels and tires and finders.
