worked a little more the last few days. here are a few pics.

here is the wall from the inside
Image
here is the full wall from the outside. odd but can you see the orbs. i often think i have a ghost in my house. doors open.
Image
here is the wall with the exterrior wall clamped. you can see a piece that represents a spar. the celing will be underneith. this is like Steve Frederics design.
Image
i struggled with my hatch seal design. here i have created a channel. my seal will sit in it between the inside and ousidewall. this will be my major seal and i will have a minor seal at the edge between the hatch rim and the outside wall.
Image
so far so good. taking it slow but ths was the first time i have tried out my wall on the camper. one very minor adjustment and everywhere i checked it was square. i placed about three screws to hold in place and it was VERY strong and sturdy. i have pushed and leaned on it and it barely moves. I am very happy with this build so far.

Hey MJ,
do you think i need amymore supports in that wall. not to concerned about weight. but i dont really want to over do it either. it feels very sturdy as is. what cha think?

DG, with your cabinets/bulkheads in place it will be fine...once you put the ceiling/roof system in, it should be as close to bulletproof as is possible to build one...........

...uhhhh....if you were talking about the framing in the walls, once the sandwich is all laid up it will be pretty well bulletproof as well...so either way, you should be good to gooooooooo...

Lookin good so far. That's my preferred method of attaching the roof and ceiling too.

Your ghosts are dust particles magnified by the camera. Try taking a picture at a dirt track with a digital camera, you'll get lots of ghosts! 8)
