Looks really nice  . So how much weight do you have in steel now? Looks like a large teardrop for sure :applause: Danny

Danny,
Believe it or not it is lighter than you would think. Since I used thin wall square tubing I can still pick up the tongue and move it around by hand.

I am wondering when I skin it do I need to put adhesive on all points of contact?
Thanks Big De

Wow! How did you get such a nice fair curve?

Are you a metalworker by trade?

Looks nice. I imagine you have a lot of time tied up in it.

Steve,
No I'm a freight broker lol but I was a service electrician for 8 years and I built a dirt race car. Once my wife seen the Tear Drop show on the travel channel we were hooked. :awesome:
But to get that radius I built a wooden template and used that to bend the square tube by hand
need less to say it was an "R" rated expierence

Big De, what's the width x length x height of your "monster" tear. Just teasing, makes me think of the "Monster Garage" you have transformed an old ordinary travel trailer into a big teardrop  that looks like it could sleep 4 .Are you going to insulate it? ;) Danny
If you could go and edit the orignal post by highlighting each photo link and click image (one at a time) they will all show up, just a suggestion.

Danny,

The "Psycho Billy Sleeper" is 4 1/2 tall x (cabin) 12'9" long x 6' wide and
I do plan on insulating it. I do have a bad habit of over building But I like it  thanks for the suggestion.

:woohoo: :beautiful: :awesome:

Very nice. I forgot if you were just adding alum. or ply on first... Don't know about the adhesive because I have never worked with metal. I put some on my trailer just because it I could. :R

Big DE: that looks great, this may sound funny but I was telling my wife the other day that if I build another TD that I was going to it the way you have only out of Aluminum. and as for the adhesive I think I would unless you are going to use some type of fasteners on the sides and even then using the adhesive on all contact points will keep down the possibility of any skin rattlelater own. good luck on the rest and keep sending pics.
