Anybody know if there is a manufacture that makes vintage style propane tanks? or show me to a previous thread?

I have a horizontal one you can have. You can pick it up at the Gathering in SLO Monatana de Oro State Park next month, if you want it.

Manchester Tank has a wide variety of propane tanks.. but I don't know what a "vintage" tank would look like, so I don't know if any of them would match. If the appearance change is due to features required for safety, I would not expect to find a currently legal tank with a vintage look...

I am looking for a horizontal tank. I do not have a tear yet, im gathering parts up now. Im gonna go with a kit from r.w. johnson. They are not too far from me. thanks for the offer though, and any advise.

Horizontal tanks are not regulated for OPD's because they haven't developed a replacement fill for them so you should be able to fill your horizontal tanks.

I bought a horizontal tank from Suburban Gas. It looks just like the 20lb tank that everyone uses on their barbeques, it just sits horizontal. I chose this tank because I wanted to mount it in a tongue box and wanted a low profile. As it ended up, I ran out of money for the tongue box. The tank looks real nice, but there is a problem I was not aware of. You can not fill this tank in the horizontal position. It needs to be unbolted from the trailer and stood upright each time it is filled. What a drag. Oh well, live and learn. And for this inconvenience I paid 4 or 5 times the cost of a vertical tank.
