Bigger Windows

Postby DANL » Thu Jan 06, 2005 7:51 pm

Whilst cruising the web yesterday I noticed that Grant now has 15x24" and 15"x30" awning type windows. I think the bigger one will work nicely for the front of my POD. Lots more ventilation for the summer.

Just a note for those who might want bigger windows.

P.S. Mike, go ahead and move this to another section if not appropriate here.

I put the 15x24 in my doors, and they work fine... I've noticed the translucent roof vent adds a lot of light....

Seems the most important function of windows and roof vents is letting light in, not the viewing from inside to outside..... I rarely look out, but enjoy the light coming in..... I had thought about a front window, but the way I put the ply on I couldn't make the flat spot for it... (i went the long way, and ply doesn't bend well that way), so I eliminated it.... there are times I would like to have it, but with shelves, it would probably get covered up with clothes...
