paint/painting?

My trailer will soon have an epoxy (sides) and fiberglass/epoxy (top) skin on it. My wife is eager to paint a beautiful color scheme, but we don't know about what type of paint to use. I've checked out RustOleum Marine Topside, Interlux Brightside polyurethane, and Uniflex 255, all have very limited color availability. West Marine has Interlux Premium Yacht alkyd-based enamel in white, I don't know if it can be tinted. Are there more common paints available that would be suitable for what we have in mind? My wife is checking out commercial painters as well.

They will color match anything you send them, and will tint your primer, too.

...the Kirby paints look like a pretty good option...keep in mind that epoxy needs to be UV protected...another option is to use automotive paints and an automotive clearcoat.........

This Kirby paint looks like a great deal, and I was looking for a marine paint company that could match colors!

Does anyone have experience working with this particular marine paint?

I painted this boat with color-matched Kirby paint.

Mail them a paint chip of your favorite color, along with your order, and in a week or so you'll get it. Mine was a perfect match.

Kirby paint goes on beautifully, especially if you mix in Penetrol. I roll & tip, and this paint was a pleasure to work with.
