Attaching fenders

I am back building the tear. Still want to use it for the first time before it snows. I have the woody trim temporarily installed. I have installed 8 t-nuts on the backside of the trim. I do have fender welting as well. I planned on using 8 stainless steel 3/4" bolts with a rubber washer to hold on the fenders. Does anyone see a problem with this method?

Heres what I am working with.

...should work just fine...being a belt and suspenders kinda guy, I would recommend a fender washer between the bolt head and the rubber washer...a dab of sealant on the threads(or T nut opening) might be advisable as well.........

Wood Butcher,

I have used those kind of fittings before. You will want to re-inforce them with woodglue or something. If too much force is placed on them, the prongs will give, but it looks like you have enough to distribut the load. Lowes also offers a threaded shaft that doesn't rely on prongs to hold it in place. Six in one hand half a dozen in the other.

Your tear looks good!
