Found some interesting wheels

I found these wheels at a wrecking yard where the owner is building a track style hot rod roadster. These are 17" Ford wires and he is going to use 16" wheels instead. They are already trued and powder coated in a color I wanted. Since I found my Modernistic fenders and now these wheels I really am committed to building another tear over the winter. Something is going to be surplus.

Those are way to cool, I want a set. I saw a tear today in Live Oak Ca. a tear that had similar wire wheels, I asked the guy as he was pasing through he said it was a 1955 ... I could'nt here his last words but the tear was an original.

those look great Jerome....can't wait to see what you do with them...I've got a set in getting powder coated right now for the new build, Artillery type...but plan on using a similar fender in glass...I think that wheels and fenders really make a statement on the tear that you build around them...a big portion of the design and overall look, and you got some great looking ones...Doug
