I am gathering items to build an 8'teardrop based on a Harbor Freight Trailer. Where is the best place to buy Door and Galley Hinges and Other Hardware?

I'd like to get all items from one place.

Thanks - AB

don't know where you live but I'm in northern Indiana (RV central for US) and there's a salvage place here that has tons of stuff real cheap. I go there and just wonder around but they also have a web site here

Hi Brick, I saw where you like to hangout ( junkyard? ) rv salvage yard :o , I was wandering if they let customers wander aroud & pull there own parts? Is it outside? Do you need to be real carefull pulling parts? I live west of Toledo & would like to maybe check it out sometime . I am in the process of builing my Tear & need some windows . Thanks

I got all my door hardware from here:

$35 total for handles and cab locks for two doors and a hatch (and they're all keyed the same).

hey Boodro - the place is well worth the trip if your that close , I do that toledo run a lot and it's pretty easy. rv salvage is just a couple of miles off toll road exit. it's all indoors, quite large, very informal, like typical salvage yard. you just wander around, pick out whatever you want and on the way out, you stop at the counter and they just sort of look at stuff and say "how about $5" or whatever. some stuff has prices but not all and usually is less when you go to pay anyhow. it's like Mecca if you're early in the building of your TD. Hope you have a way to haul it all back. If you come over, let me know and I'll send you directions and I'm only one more exit to west and you could see what I'm doing too. let me know, Brick

L-Handle GD303L and R
T-handle GD205
Locking Cab Locks 56L and R
Non Locking Cab Lock 58
Gaskets G-2
I asked for the same keying on all of them. They asked what key number I wanted so I guess you could probably match similar locks you might already have.
