A friend sent me this link and said he made a 85 quart ice box for the boat he is building. He thought It might work for a teardrop since it has Strength, insulation and low weight. Comes in many sizes and thickness. They carry other products that would work for the roof too. I know foam boards have been discussed here before and don't know if this company was included in the discussions. The Kerfkore Company is located in Brunswick Georgia and it would be great if someone could check this out. :D Danny

Thanks Brick I saw those distributors. It's just when you can see the product at the original source you don't get answers like, I'm not sure or let me check with the mfr and never get any results. I'll have to go see my friend Dave and check it and his air bag system out, he's quite creative he's making a boat that looks like this. I've used some of those products that are 3/4" thick and when bent over a radius it looks segmented. :( Danny

Danny, it just so happens that I have seen samples of their product, and in fact, took some to the north meets south gathering last year and showed them around.
haven't had time to visit the factory, but the guy I got the samples from said they could make sheets any size up to 10 X 10 with any material you like.
they have a foam core with Formica and paper veneers, wood veneers and some with wood cores and wood veneers...real neat stuff, but a bit pricey.

oh, I go to Brunswick all the time, and if you go there, go to Willy's Weenie Wagon for lunch and have you a pork chop sandwich...UM UM...it's so good, it will make your tongue slap your brains out from licking your lips.

When headed North, we would always stop in Brunswick because it was about the time we needed gas/bathroom/food.
