Still working all the details on my galley, but I thought I'd post some progress pics.

This is the plumbing underneath showing water tank and plumbing (looks a little messy, doesn't it?):

I stole this idea from several folk. I wanted more work space, so I mounted brackets in the large storage drawer and stacked two cutting boards. One is bamboo and the other is plastic. Both just sit in place at the top level of the drawer when it is opened. The bamboo cutting board helped me decide on how to build my counter top. Here's the bamboo cutting board:

and the plastic one beneath:

Detail shot of the removable sink bowl (idea stolen courtesy of the first trailer I ever looked at--SteveH):

The counter top is laminated using 1/4 mahogany and cypress strips glued to a piece of plywood, then finished with poly. I originally finished with epoxy, but either the wet weather or old resin (or both!) made the epoxy milky. Since I wanted to get this done before the LCGII, I decided to nix the epoxy, belt sanded it off, and finished with my tried and true poly technique. I still have 2 or three coats to go, but that will go quickly next weekend. I still have to make the gas stove garage and storage compartment over it.

Looks like you've had some fun on that one Tony, but I don't know why you need the cutting boards....Jack just uses a piece of cardboard, helps to keep the weight down! Great Job guy!! Doug

Thanks for the compliments, everyone.

Doug--funny you should mention cardboard. I considered that, but it didn't fit in with my "overbuilt" theme. Besides, I was hoping the stripes would make my trailer look wider. :D
