Hey ...

... that's pretty cool & clever! Something like that could be easily adapted to your typical Harbor Freight frame ... ... ...

Ron Dicky ... have you checked out that dutch door ... ...?

CHEERS!

Hi Classic Finn, Heikki?

Congratulations with the winning yesterday of the GP of china from the Iceman.
The name of the site was commingup, when i was looking for trailerchassis.
Once, long time ago, my father built a caravan himself. That was about 45 years before and It was very nice camping in it. The only thing was, it was not isolated, so in the morning we were as wet as in the rain.
The caravan looked the same as a little Adria with 3 sleepingplaces in it.
It had a kitchen insite and the weight was around 360 KG empty.
We always camped in Germany. Bad weather and lots of rain, even in summer. Me and family are camping always in France, warm and sunny.
Greatings Henk

Don't want to hijack the thread but if the Englishman outqualifies the Spaniard in Brazil, I think the Spainiard will take the Englishman out in the first corner, and Kimi cruises to the victory and the drivers championship.

Don't think Fernando will do that. He is in a big war with the teamowner.

I guess Lewis will win the game and be the youngest world champion ever.

Next year champion will be Sebastian Vettel. Yes, German, but he is good and cool.

Heikki, why don't you call yourself SISU?

Than you call me LEPOTANKO.

About holyday next year, well maybe, but DW and 2 DD's like to go to France. I speak better french than finnish.

I know your country a little bit, because in the factory I work in we importing a lot of Finnish and other scandinavian wood. (Also Russian).

What kind of caravan companies did you contacted? Kip, Chateau, Homecar, Avento, Beyerland, Kamath?

Ever heard of aartkok? http://www.aartkok.nl/outdoor-trailers/

In Holland is also a very interesting tentbuilder. They build tents without a frame but with tubes with air in it. Karsten.

Well, you have enough for the moment, I guess.

Hi Heikki,

Nice letter and good answers.

I thought Lepotanko was something about a lightpole. But maybe not.

And SISU is wolf, like the finnish truck company.

All I know about a full polyester caravan made in holland is Biod..

In the old days we had also Otten, they had a pull out roof with textile.

And other brands like Rapido (french) and Eriba (German).

We had before a Caravelair Antares 496, a French one, over 6 meter for 5 persons sleeping, but I have sold that, because when you only go once a year camping for 3 weeks it is a big spending. Now the planning was to go with the tent, till I saw the Teardrop.
That is realy amazing. I am still planning. I have allready the chassis, but I have to make it longer and wider. And make also something underneath to make a slide-out.

Well, I guess this is it for the moment.

Lepotanko
