Drag-N-Den (Steve's first custom kit.) Updated 4-27-08

Postby n8ncl » Mon Oct 15, 2007 12:02 am

Well it has been a while since I posted any updates.
Thanks to Steve Fredrick from Camping Classics for building my walls.
I sent Steve some drawings I made and he gave me a really good price that was fair and worked with me on details and kept me up to date.
So here some pics.

Image
Steve made a full size template from my drawing.

Next he glued up some sheets of !/4" birch then fiberglassed it.

Image
Steve has wall panel cut out and door opening's.

Image
Me and my wife made the long trip (8 hours up 8 hours back) up to Steve's place to pick up the walls. Steve did a very nice job on our trailer walls

Image
Well today has been the first time I have been able to do some work on trailer. We set the walls in place and braced them up so I figure cabinets and where to put the A\C.

Had to see what it looked like on back of the car.

Image
Had to see what my 1940 Ford fiberglass fenders look like. We will have to do a little mod. for them to work.

Looks very nice, Really like the fenders, and walls look great.
My Idea of plans are a tape measure, a saw and a dream.

Looks great. Is that a rear window, or will it be some kind of access door?
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

Thanks every one.

Steve, I have been working every weekend since we picked them up. First weekend I have had off.

Tony J, Yes that is a access door for easy storage of things we would use a lot.
