Kinda ironic that the day I finally get the AC in the teardrop, the temperature is 38 degrees. Burr :fan:

Thanks for the compliments.

It is on a "tray" that can be removed if need be... After the td is skinned, Mike is going to build a Lid/Cover that will go over the air conditioner. It have a gasket thing ( you can tell that I dont have the slightest idea what it is called  ) Anyway, Mike assures me that it will not leak!

We can remove the air conditioner and put a ceramic heater (one of those small heater things...... :) in its place. I guess if we wanted to just leave it open we could, but I dont think I would want the bugs to come visit me......
Mike has worked so hard on that little opening..... it took alot for him just to cut that hole in the front of the td....... goodness..... he "what if'ed" it to death....... but I am so proud of how he did it.

Good job Mike...

I used a really neat weather stripping I got from home depot. Let me see if I can find a pic.

Ah here we go... stripping around the ac

And I plan on adding the normal stripping underneath the cover too!
