and what will you coat the strips with?

Yep, good ole Tite Bond II, very good glue. And then epoxy and glass over all.

Don't forget lots of pics of the epoxy stage. I have to redo all my seams and will be following closely. I've only ever played with a little patch kit once seams like neat stuff

My plan is to cut the doors out from the opposite side with my circ saw, which will cut inwards, following the previous skin cuts, so as not to tear the strips. Thats the plan anyway!?!

Looking forward to following your build. It appears that it will be outstanding! I haven't done a stripper TD but do have a idea for a "quilted" one...keep us all posted! Doug

Most be some seriously strong magnets behind there to hold those c-clamps up like that!! :lol: :lol: 8)

Those look like the "DannyCams" applying pressure!!!

Dave - thanks for the idea! Iv'e been glueing 6 strips at a time. The ply behind the strips is only 1/4", so I didn't want to put any more pressure on the screws holding the clamps.
Most be some seriously strong magnets behind there to hold those c-clamps up like that!!

OK your just going to explain how those clamps work, Or maybe I'll have to plan a trip to see them in person. Or both
