Finally got back to work on the tear after a 4 month lag. Had to leave it alone for the summer as I was building a new shop. Now that the shop is done and I'm moved in I can get back at it. Made good progress over the last 3 weekends. I added several pics in my album. Oh, by the way, this was going to be aluminum, but I had this nice 1/8" white oak and I always wanted a woody! So I guess I'll have to build another one since I now have 2-4x10 sheets of .040 aluminum on hand!!!

Thanks Madjack,
So far it's just stain, (Except for the door trim, just got that on today!) But I plan on using catylized marine varnish. Probably 3 coats.

D, Nice Teardrop, Shape and workmanship! Tell me, what is the PVC in the Galley all about?
Nice shop too

John,
The PVC is the "duct work" for the "central" air conditioner that I built from a $69.00 window unit. One for supply one for return air.
Thanks,
David

Great looking tear! So, you disassembled a window AC unit and built it into your teardrop? If so, you should post a tutorial on that!! Very nice!

I like the central air look on the interior. I did that to mine, but put the controls up high. It seems to work very well so far. I just have to wait till this next summer to give it a real test.
Here is my vents at the foot wall.
Here is the control panel. It also has a remote so my lazy butt doesn't have to get up to adjust.
It looks like you will be setting the ac on the ground and duct to the trailer. Am I right?
Your build is really sweet. Can't wait to see a finished interior.
