Hey Gang
A quick question, Have any of you mounted horizontal RV sliding windows vertical? If you have how are they working out for you? I'm think on it with the slider down. TIA.

My windows are mounted vertically. I mounted them that way to lower the open part of the window to the level of my body while laying in the tear for better ventilation. The only problem I had was they leaked water until I drilled extra weep holes at the bottom. Now, all is well. Take a look in my gallery for pictures.

Joe-

I have mounted vertical sliders horizontally.

Had to do same as Steve...Bore weep holes along the bottom.

I used these:

Nice thing about mobile home windows is that they are safety glass...

Cheers,

Coop

I did mine just like SteveH. No problems at all.

Just watch what kind you get. I have run across a few designs that will not stay open on their own. For the right price, I could probably live with having to prop the window open though.
