Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

I was planing on using a scarf joint and trying to do double skin. on my floor Im going to use 1/2, walls either 1/4+1/8 or 1/8+1/8

I am planning the same but why scarf? I was simply going to butt splice over an inner frame member.

I used a butt joint over 1/4" with 6" on each side. Thinned the framing and insulation to fit.
