I am building a 5' wide Benroy. I would like to install a removable partition so I can make the sleeping area into two seperate sleeping compartments. Any ideas?

Maybe an accordian made out of some lightweight material, cloth and luan maybe, supported from the ceiling and tied to the front and rear at the floor. Collapsing the accordian folds would allow it to be removed through the doorway. If it is being used primarily to prevent those awkward John Candy "those aren't pillows" moments it could also be made shorter than full ceiling to roof.

We just made a heavyweight privacy curtain that divides our TD ... "room darkening quality " is good for the sleepers...light and cheap ...and decorative...

How separate do the areas have to be? Are we talking 100% privacy, or just sort of, "I don't want to drool on my hunting buddy" kind of privacy?

Also, will the mattress be split?

May we know why it needs to be seperated?

If you don't need real privacy a metal mini blind from the ceiling or up from the floor.

Any 4 fold board that attaches to the ends of the TD.

A fan fold door that is cut off.
:thinking:Image to the playground. ;)

Oh yeah---corrugated plastic stuff. 8)

My idea is not so much as a partition, but one cot is going to be about 16" off the floor and the other is on the floor, just to keep those awkard moments at a minimun. :o

 I guess technically you could make the other half of the bed raise and lower to facilitate the loss or gain of awkward moments. 8)

If you just want separation of a single piece mattress then a hinged (so it is removable) board is easiest.
