Well recently weve been down with the flu with slight fever here amongst us but I decided to try to do something on the Voyager interior..

Here are couple of pics for our new members also.

I took in the counterop and Im ready to cut the whole for the sink and add the beautifully handcrafted, in Texas - sink ring.

Also the sink cut out will then be made into the cover for the sink itself
so everybit of the extra wood will be used for somthing so this is one of our ideas.

The sink ring will receive a couple of coats of wax to get the shine as the countertops have. It should blend in nicely

I,ll get you the real McCoy Tony after I get it cut.. Its a nice sink ring though..

Noooo not only in photoshop.. have to test all 1st.

Also I need to figure out as to how the cut out itself will be trimmed on the edge so I can have a groove on the edges to make it sit nicely on top of the sink.

I may have to add a little extra to the edge possibly.

Here is the real McCoy and no Photoshop and no scam my friend. This was the 1st dry fitting. Ive got it all apart again though.

Ohhhhhhh Finn, that is going to be so beautiful!!!!! Such a show piece, I would be afraid to use it for fear of getting it messed up. You are a real perfectionist.

I would not threaten him with eating chicken soup, I would tell him that if he does not stay in bed we will have Suvi sell the truck and trailer

After reading a number of your posts, you seem to be more savy on purchasing things here in the States than most of the people who live here. My biggest question is why you live in Finland? Could it be the biggest problem with "America" is all the "Americans" that live here?

You do good work, Photoshop notwithstanding.

Doe's your tear do better on a port or starboard tack.

Hi Gus, I see that your biggest question is why I live in Finland?

I guess that reply is the same as askin you as why you live where you live?

Im a natural born Finn thus granting me, automatic citizenship of Finland. And that is followed by my geographical location. which most of the time is convenient however can at certain times be inconvenient, as is for this addicting hobby and for trying to purchase certain parts.

Also since you asked Im quite content living in Scandinavia and I dont have the urge to change my status to a "foreigner" go home to wherever you came from status or being stuck in a immigrant status situation and being treated as such. Life in general is quite good here.

(apologies for the slight sarcasm) however Ive heard that soooo many times while being docked in ports in the USA and Canada during our visits.

Thanks for the kind words regarding my work though.

Im going to have it over in the mid section of the counter I say but the boss might say different.. and Im in process of looking for a single faucet for it.. most likely will be the hose type that pulls out ..

I have one of them already but with a 12 volt cigarrette lighter type install.. maybe I,ll incorporate that to the sink yet..

But sloooooowly gettn there.
