how deep are your footboxes

Still stuck on the idea of a scooter hauler. Thinking of a dropped trough the length of the trailer. The question I have is for those who have footboxes(dropped floors) is how deep is yours? I am thinking 4- 6 inchs from the top of the frame. I realize it will all depend on how deep I can as to what starting angle I pick for my axles. What is the critical place that would be most likely to scrape on speed bumps, etc. My thought is that it would be about half way between the axle and the hitch, but I have been wrong before and I'm sure I will be again.
Thanks

Mine is 12" deep. I made it so it was just above the axel hight.

Mine is 9 1/4" deep, with 7" of clearance between it and the ground. Only time will tell if that's enough clearance to avoid scraping things.
