Wallpaper on ceiling?

Finally finished the wallpaper in the camper and gave it a pretty decent look. However, I started looking at the ceiling and wanted something different – originally painted.. I am thinking about wallpaper for it as well. The wallpaper on the walls has held up pretty good after some very wet, humid, and cold weather. I know that there are a lot of options about ceiling materials – however I do want to use wallpaper due to the many design choices out there – any thoughts?

Your wallpaper looks so cool, so I wouldn't hesitate on a ceiling. As an alternative ...and much thanks for your help...that hulliner/headliner is turning out nice. It does soften things up some in a small place. Couldn't have done it with out you!

I dated a wallpaper hanger for a couple of years. She papered my bathroom. She said that moisture affecting the paper was more about the glue you use than the paper. I think she used vinyl adhesive, but I could be wrong. I know she didn't use the normal stuff. It has been up for close to 10 years without a problem. Just ask at a big box store or paint place that carries paper and ask what kind of glue they would suggest for a moisture laden environment.

Ya gotta get the embossed paper that looks like a tin ceiling. With the right base paint and an overglaze you can get a faux metal look that is fantastic.. It would look real nice with the 48" lighted ceiling fan.

 If you want paper then go for it. I like the embossed look too, but without the metal. Something softer. The headliner Dave has is great but not something you can change out.

It went up pretty easy, but for the ceiling, you REALLY need and extra set of hands until it all contacts - then it can slide around and position it. Now Am I finally finished?
What do you guys think?
