Postby tbeau » Fri Feb 29, 2008 8:09 pm

I have a friend who sells paint and paint accesories who recomended a product like koolseal aluminium roof coating. He says it is fairly cheap and should work well. I also think it would look neat. Has any ony used or knows some one who has used a type of fibered aluminum coating to paint the outside of their camper?

No doubt about it. Crawl up on top of any mobile home after that stuff been there a couple of years, it doesn't take long for it to start cracking either.

Dito about the Mobile Home roof sealant product. I have used it on the house in a pinch on a flat section of roof ( no longer there ) and as said it is a mess in short time.I would not use it on my trailer at all.
