Im sure people have used those boat cover snaps on their campers before. Where did you find them!? Im having a hard time finding those snaps to use on my canvas top. Im looking for a set of about 50 with the mounting post for wood and the snaps that go on the canvas.
Someone school me on these snaps. Anything i need to know?

THANKS! 8)

google upholstery supplies there all over. Or just ask a local auto or marine upholstery shop they will probably sell you right out of their stock.

Found mine at Lowe's on the aisle that has nuts bolts, and screws, next to the pop rivets. The part that attached to the trailer has a screw built in. simple to use.

You might check an off roading store or a store that sells VW & dune buggy parts.
When I was building desert rails & sand rails I used them on a lot of the seats to secure the seat covers & they worked great & I picked them up at a local VW & off road shop. They we're alot cheaper then a boating supply house, You may also find them at a material store.
Nic the ones I used we're real easy to install, the snap side that you will be putting on your canvis you will have to use a plier looking crimping tool
which is available at wally world or the material store. And the snap part that will be on your trailer all you will have to do is get the proper size of screw and put the screw threw the center hole in the snap, just be sure that the screw seats down in the snap so that the other side of the snap will be able to snap to it. ( I hope this makes sense to you.)

In the morning im going to search out screws that will work with the snaps. I have a couple of things im working on on the inside of the camper too. Ill try and get this top done and post some pix. Thanks for all the help.
